Scottish Seabird Centre Photography Winners

The Scottish Seabird Centre, a renowned centre for wildlife viewing located on a rocky outcrop at North Berwick where it overlooks the islands of the Firth of Forth and beaches of East Lothian has announced the winners of its annual Nature Photography Competition.
Now in its fourth year the competition attracts around 400 entries from amateur photographers and boasts award winning Scottish wildlife photographer Laurie Campbell and acclaimed landscape specialist Graham Riddell as members of its judging panel. Unique to the competition visitors to the Seabird Centre can vote for their favourite pictures and these count towards the final outcome of the competition.
The Seabird Centre itself is an absolute paradise for nature enthusiasts, kitted out with a host of wildlife webcams dotted around the wildlife rich islands allowing visitors to eavesdrop on the inhabitants including puffins, peregrine falcons, the World famous Bass Rock Gannets and Grey Seals to name but a few.
Winning entries included Duncan Smith with a fantastic dawn landscape of Waulkmill Bay in Orkney and ‘Scottish Wildlife’ category winner Russel Childs with a snap of an Osprey fishing.
